FAQ’s

Fixin’ To Eat is brand new so we’re just starting to make history.  However, the owner of Fixin’ To Eat formerly co-owned and operated a similar business ten years ago.  Many of the menu items are based on the original chef-created recipes that were customer favorites back then!

Your total will vary since each meal is individually priced.  We work hard to keep our food prices low in order to keep your cost low.  Per serving, you can expect to pay $3-$6 dollars.

Almost all menu items are offered to serve 3 or 6.  We realize that everyone eats different sized portions and that appetites can vary.  If you are feeding 3 teenage athletes, plan on ordering for 6. However, if you and your spouse are feeding 2 young children, then 3 servings may be plenty for your family.  Remember, there’s no harm in an easy lunch of leftovers.

We do offer some options to meet certain dietary needs.  Our website is getting some final functionality for dietary icons.  Until then, like our page on Facebook to get updates on menus and which items are gluten-free, etc.  As we continue to test and develop our menus, more options will be added over time.

Menu items containing nuts will have that listed in the description so that you can avoid those particular meals, however, if you have extreme sensitivity then it would not be safe since cross-contamination can occur during preparation.

You can make as many as you’d like, but the minimum is 36 servings.  If you’re ordering the 6 servings size, that’s 6 menu items to reach the minimum.

Our goal here at Fixin’ To Eat is to eliminate your daily errands and thoughts about what to cook.  The best way to do that is to ensure that your own fridge/freezer is loaded with ready-to-cook meals.  When you are thinking about “what to cook” we hope it’s just a matter of selecting one of the restaurant-quality meals that are already available at home.

Just bring a copy of your confirmation and something to transport your meals in (a laundry basket or cooler will work).

On average, each menu item takes no more than 10 minutes to assemble, so for an order of 6 menu items you can plan to spend approximately one hour.

At Fixin’ To Eat, we realize that life happens and we will do our best to accommodate you.  Please realize that we order from our vendors and hand-prepare all of the ingredients based on what you ordered.  In order to keep menu prices affordable and food waste to a minimum, the following cancellation policy has been established.
